MUTINY IN CHINA.
2jJO DISAFFECTED TROOPS SHOT. By Tolecraph—Press Asioeiatlon-Oopfrtehl Peking, September 26. Two thousand cavalry mutinied at Wuchang. The mutiny was suppressed and 250 of the mutineers executed. The mutineers were in barracks outside Wuchang. It had been arranged that the artillery would join the mutiny, but they failed to do so at the last moment. General Chimen, being forewarned, opened the city gates, admitting fifty mutineers, who were immediately Bhot. He afterwards dispatched troops, who captured and executed two hundred more. Tho remainder fled.
