John Hall, of Siiverlea, St. Leon-ards-on-Sca, Sussex, in memory of brother, the late Sir Samuel Hall, K.C., formerly! Vice-Chancellor of the County Palatine of Lancaster. -Mr. Hall left estate of iM4,!>7B gross value. The reversion is payable on the death of the survivor of two nieces, and J:_(),000 of it is to go to' a ''Samuel Hall" professorship in chemistry and to a "Samuel Hall professorship in philosophy. The other JCSOOO is for "Samuel Hall" scholarships in chemistry and philosophy. The ultimate residue of his property, accumulating at compound interest, he left to Vict/irin University for "John Hall" scholarships.
