TYPHOON IN JAPAN.
GREAT DAMAGE DONE. ' By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyrieht (Kec. September 26, 11,10 p.m.) , Tokio, September 26. The city has been isolated telegraphically siiice Sunday last, a typhoon having caused widespread devastation, particularly along the middle p,irt of tho south coast. . Serious shipping losses are reported. The battleship Satsuma and the gunboat Hanshua were dismasted, and four destroyers and five borpedoers are ashore. A spinning mill, a school, and a convent collapsed at Ntlgoyh, where there vero heavy fatalities. A torpedo'boat sank with all hands at Tsuruga on Sundayi
