CHURCH MISSIONARY SOCIETY.

— 9— —— Bishop IngXam, Central Secretary of tho Church Missionary Society, has accepted the living of St. Jude's, Soutlisea. His seven years' occupancy of the Headship of the Home Department of the C.M.S. has been mark-ed by strenuous activity and by a great development of the organisation with which he was associated. Hi's personal knowledge of the mission field, , his conciliatory temper, and magnetic hold on audiences made him a great- influence in committee and throughout, the country. He leaves Sajisburv Square with deep.regret, and hopes' still to attend the more important committees. His appointment to St. Jude's will not interfere with his taking part in the Mission of Help to Western Canada.—"The Guardian."
