SOME STRINGENT PROPOSALS. By Teleffraph—Press Association—Copyright Brisbane, September 25. The Mayor presided at-a Liquor Law Reform Convention, at -which it was resolved to favour confining tho sale of liquor to the hours between 8 o'clock in the morning and 9 o'clock at night. A resolution was also passed favouring the non-employment of barmaids other thf.n those at present employed.
