In the Ilcmse of Representatives yesters tiny, the Prime Minister rend the follow--0 ing cable message, received from tl\o I, High Commissioner, London:— „ "The wool snles have commenced with a largo attendance of buyers. There is a general mid active demand. Supplies will be moderate. Trndo is ' good. The market sliows signs of strength. Merino wools are very firm at former prices, while crossbreds are J-d. to Jd. per pound higher than last sale. Seventy-seven thousand six r hundred bales of' New Zealand wools are catalogued. Prospects nro favour--1 able." s The news was received by members with I evident interest and pleasure. ' Mr. G.
