'aiiiSutS"nxSS' l t'h6 range, of pay at. from .£22 a month for chief engineers, .£l7 10s. for second engineers, and kls 10s. for third engineers, on vessels of under 100 horse-power to 450 horse-power; to .032 for chief engineers, .£22 for second, .£lB for third,'. .£ls for fourth, and £\i others on vessels of 450 horse-power and over. . The time on : duty, when in port or at sea, or partly' in'port and partly at sea, shall.be eight hours, and when actually in port from 7 o'clock in the morning to 5 o'clock in the evening. This .does not apply to chiefs of vessels having less than three engineers. Overtime pay shall be half-a-crown an houri with five shillings for chiefs. This applies to Sundays and holidays. Engineers shall not be asked to keep watch, excepting when in an unsafe port or where the stay in port is less than twenty-four hours. After nine months'' service, chief engineers shall be entitled to twenty-one, and. other engineers to fourteen, days' leave on full pay. . J When a vessel is out of commission, and the engineers' services are utilised in fitting or any other work, they shall receive full sea pay. The award is to have a duration of five years. It includes the Union Company and the Huddart-Parker Company. The award applies to vessels engaged in the inter-State trade, the Court reserving consideration'of the question whether it shall be made to bind other vessels, and to what extent. '■.'■.'.'
