EXPERIMENTAL FARMS.
A COMPARISON OF EXPENDITURES. Detailed statements of the expenditure on tho nine experimental farms from their inception are given in a return presented to the Houso of Representatives yesterday afternoon. All tho farms are situated in tho North Island, six of them bsing in the Auckland province. During tho period 1892-1904 the total expenditure was £87,737, and from April 1, 1901, the expenditure on the various forms has been: Arataki (Hawke's Bay), £9914; Bickerstaffe (North Auckland), £10,726; Moumahaki (Taranaki), Ruakurn (Woikato), .£28,230: Wacrenga (South Auckland), £14,751; Wereroa (Wellington), £35,071: Motuihi (Auckland Harbour), from 1909 £1877; Taurang.a (Hay of Plenty), from 190G £5123 10s.; n grand total of £275.393 10s.
