JOHNSONVILLE TOWN BOARD.

The first meeting of the newly-elected Johnsonville Town Board was held last evening. Those present were; Messrs. A. J. Slay, F. T. Sfoore, W. 11. Lawrence, \V. Angell,; O. Jerusalem, AV. L. Thompson, and 11. Parker. Mr. F. T. Moore was elected chairman of the board for the'two ensuing years, and on taking the chair he moved .that the board record its appreciation oi the close attention and long service rendered bv Mr. Thompson, the retiring chairman. 'l'hU million was carried unanimously. The following committees were ap-pointed--Finance, Jlessrs. Jerusalem (chairman), Thompson, ami Angell; Work. Slessrs. Slay (chairman), lhonipson Lawrence, and Parker; Lighting, Mewrs. Uwrence (chairman), Slay, Angell, nnd Thompson; By-Laws, Jlessrs. Thompson (chairman), Jerusalem, and Lawrence.
