The club championship' competition consisted of ten matches, including four iired over long ranges. During tho season the club took nn active part in promoting the interests of riflemen generally. Its president is chairman of the New fJcnland Killo Clubs' Executive, chnirmuh of the Wellington Rille Association, aiid a' representative of the New Zealand Rille CTubs;dn the Dominion Rillp Association; its deputy-president, .is a member of the Wellington Rifle Association, and one of its members is secretary to' tile .New Zealand Rille \Jhibs' Executive and secretary lu tho Wellington Rifle Association. The restoration of i\iilway concessions to rille-club members, the report rem-irks, was welcomed by all, and another source of satisfaction w;w that rifle-club members had been granted representation on the Dominion Rille Association. Gratitude is expressed to the patron of the club (Mr. W. H. Field) and to its vice-patrons and vice-president for tleir generous support. The club also records its thanks to its executive, committee, and president. Moving' the adoption of the report and balance-sheet, the chairman snid that tho club had a ensh credit balance of «85. It. had ammunition in store and paid for to the value of ;t8 15s. In the tonr-e of a few days the club would have a credit balance of about .-818.-. The position of the club was very satisfactory.
