ASSOCIATION.
DOMESTIC TROUBLE. A, hurriedly-convened mooting of the Management Committee of tho Wellington Football Association was held at the Y.M.C.A. yesterday afternoon to consider tho alleged action of a member of tho committee in advising certain clubs not to play in to-day's fixtures on. aocount of the territorial parade this afternoon. At the weekly meeting on Wednesday last it was decided to play the matches, territorial parades notwithstanding, only ono mumber. objecting, on the ground that the agreement entered into between tho sports bodies and the Defonco authorities should bo adhered to. Tho proceedings wero taken in camera, and a small gub-commit- . teo was appointed to investigate all the circumstances connected with the above allegation, end report to tho General Committee next Wednesday. In the meantime it is announced that tho matches set down for decision to-day are to bo played, and arrangements are being made to obtain leayo of absence for those players who.are liable for parade this afternoon under the compulsory military training regulations.
