» ELEONORA DE CISNEROS. This evening, at the Opera Hou=e, Countess do Cisnoros and her associates will givo their second concert in 'Wellington. The Countess has been very generous as regards her contributions to the. programme. She will siug "Softly Awakes my Heart," from "Samson and Delilah"; "0 Don Fatalc," from Verdi's "Don Carlos"; "Ave Marin," with 'cello obbligato by Mr. Liebling; "The Cry of linchel," "Ln Dnnza," "The Rosary," "From the Land of the Sky Blue Water," "The- Birth of Morn." "In my Little Garden," and "Ma Curly-headed Bnbby." Mr. Dufault, the tenor, will ,ving "Lend me Tour .Aid," from Gounod's "Queen of Shc'ba"; "Entreaty," "How Many Thousand Years Ago," and "The Trumpeter." Mr. Liebling,/t]ie 'cellist, will play Rubinstein's Melody in F Scherzo (Van Goens), "Nocturne" (Chopin), "The, Swan" (Saint Saens), and "Spinning Song"' (Popper). The plans for to-night's concert, and for the final one at the Town Hall to-mor-row evening, are at the Dresden, and (he three shilling tickets are available at Christeson's. " FULLERS' FICTURES. "Cardinal Wolsey" is one of the most impressive of that class of pictures which take for their central character a'wellknown historical personage, and" is well worth seeing by all interested in the life and times of the great cardinal, as well as by lovers of a good picture with a strong dramatic flavour. "Her Gift." "The Pugilist and the Girl," and "Fate's Warning" were other good pictures screened last, evening. A complete change of programme, including some, entirely new star pictures from the world's ckiet studios will be screened this evening.. The prices at. the Riiik now are sixpence aiid threepence. . KING'S THEATRE.. .West's Pictures, at the King's Theatre, are always up to a high standard, and there'is.always the solid satisfaction that every fiiin reeled is new, and of the best quality. "The God of the Sun" is a particularly artistic, as well as a dramatically'thrilling study of life in.the East, and cannot he witnessed without a lively sense of realism being conveyed. . A won-derfully-trained elephant, a sleepy-locking crocodile, and .a.great live python play a part in the story. Other fine.pictures in ■ (he bill are "Lulu's Doctor," "The. Cowes Regatta," "The Unbidden Guest," and an adaptation of Kipling's story "The Light That Failed.". Several newpictures will be screened this evening. THE NEW THEATRE.. Crowded attendances were the mlo throughout yesterday at the New Theatre continuous pictures. The management announce that to-day and to-night only they will present the Kaleni Company's fino motion picture interpretation of Dion , Boucicault's popular drama, "Tho Colleen Baw.n.'' . The talented ' young, American performer, Miss Gene Gauntier, ; will ap-pear-in the partof.Eily O'Connor. The dresses and mountings are' in keeping with tho times. In response to a general request, the- magnificent allegorical production, "The -Battle Hymn of the Republic," will be agaiu revived to-day and to-night. PLIMMER-DENNIsfON SEASON. The box.plans for "Nobody's.Daughter" and "A -Woman of No Importance" are now on view at the Dresden. It is anticipated that big backing '. will be- the order.- -In '.'Nobody's Daughter," wbicb-will bo. si aged for four nights, each individual member.will, pe satisfactorily cast. "Nobody's Daughter".is. not;addressed, to- extremists in the shape'.of'soaring' optin'i- . ists or gloomy pessimists,-but b the kindly race of men and, women who are interested in the faults ami follies and vic-tories-of-their kind. This play is said to be conspicuously out-spoken, though tho bondf-of-good taster-ire carefully observed', and strong moral • intention is the end of tlie whole thing. "A AVoman. of No Importance" will follow, and will bo staged for three .niglTTs. ' The last two nights of the season will be dqvoted to "A Village Priest." ... TINY TOWN. Tiny Town,-which has attracted,large audiences afternoon .and evening at the . Town Hall for the past nine days, concluded its season last evening, when there was a large patronage. The little people, move on to Palmerston North to-day. THE DANDIES. ■" The Dandies have swung into popularity at.the Concert. Chamber onco more, and judging by the manner in which this conspicuously .bright and clever combination is received nightly it is.clear ..that they offer the'"class of' entertainment wanted by the 'public.. Mr. Claude Dampier has air unending store cf comedy, which he dispenses "onerously to a convulsed audience. Mr. George Morgan n* a clever dancer and comedian, and Messrs. Gavin Wood and Oliver Peac«pk ias ■ vocalists arc highly acceptable. As the Concert Hall is otherwise on Saturday evening, the Pandjes will appeari that evening at the .Opera House. ARTS CLUB'CONCERT. The Arts Club concert is to b» held tonight in the Town Hall. The pro'gramme is an excellent one. and there is no reason why the concert sliould not be a great success. As regards Mr. Hudson's lecturet'e. a.feature.will be the illustrations. The performers in the dialogue will' be remembered as successful performers at the competitions last year.
