Stephen Jones, of Boston, ashing him to arrange a fight for him with "Jack" Johnson. Amongst his qualifications, Mr. Jones mentions that he split a door and a two-inch plank with his bare fist without disturbing the skin. He claims thai:' he strikes harder and quicker than Johnson.
