The trade union leaders are perturbed nt tho approach of Ulster Day, and the likelihood of the unrest in llelfnst forcing Messrs. Harland mid Wolff to close their shipyard at Queen's Island, thus compelling the payment by tho unions of out-of-work benefit to the extent of thousands of pounds, and also entailing the necessity of tho unions discriminating against unruly members. Some unions are considering the question of enrolling members ns special constables to co-opernto with the police in maintaining order. HEAVY SALE 'OP REVOLVERS. (Rec. September 18, 9.40 p.m.) London, September IS. Sir Edward Carson, the Irish Unionist leader, open's his Ulster campaign at Enniskillen to-day. A disquieting feature of the situation is the,rapid increase in th? number of persons owning revolvers. Oiie dealer in a Nationalist district in West .Belfast is selling a hundred revolvers weekly.
