From 4.30 p.m. till .1.30 p.m. the battalion will bo practised in skirmishing exorcises, and in tho use, of cover, followed by nn hour's instruction, till 6.30 p.m., on the duties of sentries on outposts, under comnanv commanders. Tho "cook-houso" call"will then sound its welcome summons for "spell-o" and tea, and nt 7 p.m. the battalion will form up for the march homewards, and will bo dismissed at 8 p.m.
