THE FIFTH REGIMENT.
- — ■ —-« FIRST DAYLIGHT PARADE. Battalion orders for the first dnylight parade of tho coming training season by tho Fifth Regiment (Wellington Rifles), on Saturday next, state that the battalion will parade- outside the Garrison Hall nt 2 p.m. and move off for a route march of an hour and a half. From 3.1)0 p.m. till i p.m. there will be exercises in battalion drill, and then will follow half nn hour of visual training. From 4.30 p.m. till .1.30 p.m. the battalion will bo practised in skirmishing exorcises, and in tho use, of cover, followed by nn hour's instruction, till 6.30 p.m., on the duties of sentries on outposts, under comnanv commanders. Tho "cook-houso" call"will then sound its welcome summons for "spell-o" and tea, and nt 7 p.m. the battalion will form up for the march homewards, and will bo dismissed at 8 p.m.
