COAL VEND CASE.
EAKLT END PROBABLE. By TcleEraph—Press Association-Couyrieht (Rcc. September 18, 0.25 a.m.) Sydney, September 17. The arguments in the Coal Vend appeal case have ended ' abruptly. The Bench did not call on the appellants to roply at any length, and counsel made only a ehort address covering the Crown's argument's.
Tho Chief Justice stated that it was very important for many reasons that the case should be ended as soon as possible, and th« C'mirt would endeavour to give judgment' this week, probably on Friday.
