Pulmerston, September 17.—Between 4 and 5 o'clock this morning there was a heavy thunderstorm, followed by torrential rain for some hours. A ficrco westerly gaje has been blowing all day; thunder again tonight. Shannon, September 17.—Monday meht was very rough and stormy. Tuesday was windy. Otaki, September 17.-A rough night, followed to-day by wind. Poathcrston, Soptomber 17.-N.W. gale continues. There was a very heavy thunderstorm early this morning. Greytown, September 17.—A severe thunderstorm paesed over Greytown early this morning; windy, but fine day.
