MAN MISSING
William Roberts, a seaman employed on board the coastal steamer Opawa, trading between Wellington and Blenheim, is reported (o be missing. It appears that he was last seen by the engineer of the Opawa at ll p.m. on Thursday last. Roberts was then reported to bo in his usual health. Yesterday afternoon the police were engaged in dragging the harbour ivi the vicinity of where the vessel was berthed on the night in question without result. Roberts is described as an Englishman, sixty years of age. He is G feet in height, ot fresh complexion, with, grey moustache. When last seen lie was dressed in a blue serge suit, and wna weaving a, hard hat.
