SUCCESSFUL AXI) UNSUCCESSFUL TENDERERS. Several City Council contracts in re spect of recently-accepted tenders were signed yesterday, and details concerning tho amounts of tho successful and unsuccessful tenders made public. For tho supply of alternating current prepayment meters for consumers of electricity, the successful tenderer was Mr. H. S. .'King, at .£282 10s., while the unsuccessful tenderers were Messrs. Laureucea nd Hansen (.£24!)), Turobull and Jones (£331), A. ondT. Burt, Ltd. (.£325), British General Electric Co. (,£338 155.;, P. 11. Bnillio (£400), and Grey and Goorga \ (.£100). Messrs. Sanders Bros., the sucoossfultenderers for the new tramwav waitingshed in Post Office Square, quoted £419. The unsuccessful tenderers were Messrs,A'. Seamer (.£492), Mace and Nicholson' (£480), A. Wilkenriing (£588),' Brown and Johnston (£457), and J. Motl'att (.£540). For the supply of two electrical multistage centrifugal pumps for high-level reservoirs, Mr.; H. S. King (representing Mather and Piatt, of Manchester, England), the successful tenderer, quoted .£lBlO. The unsuccessful tenderers wero Messrs. P. R, Baillie' (£2003), British General Eleotrio Co. .(£IBSB or £1928 lis:, alleinativc), W. L. Moore, representing" Jens Orten, Boving and Co. (£lß9l, £1918 10s., and £2004 10s., alternating), Turribull and Jones (£1(185). S. Luke and Co. (£IBO4 155.), Anderson's, Ltd., Christ, church (£ll3O, excluding pipes), Cham, bers and Co. (£2572).
