(Jregory won I lie loss and baited. ]n 123 minutes the Australians were all dismissed for 72, Barnes and Rclf proving very deadly. Willi Ihe exception of Hardsley, Kelltiway, and Minnelt, tho visitors made a poor showing. Hardslcy Iμ(led fifty minulcs and Kclleway seventy-live minutes. The English Eleven had i for ICI when stumps were drawn. llobbs, who batted fifty minutes for his runs, was uncomfortable at the outset, being almost bowled on two occasions.
