A meeting of the Citizens' Committee decided to orgnnjt-e a united protest to tho City Council"against the State Government's proposal to evict Lord Dcnman from Government Rouse. Three citizens have undertaken to pay .07000 rent, or whatever is required, for two years—tho balance of Lord Denman's term. (Rec. September 13, 11 p.m.) Sydney, September 13. The offer of three citizens to contribute tho rent of Sydney Government Houso has been withdrawn.
