Music lovers are looking forward es« pectautly to the concert by Countesa Eleonora de Cisneros and her artist associates, to lie given next week in Wellington. The famous mezzo's triumphs with ' the late Melba Grand Opera Company wero reported in New Zealand. Her bucoess in tho concert room has been quito as marked. "Htr regal presence, ana her honutiful voice, backed by consummate art," wrote the Sydney "Daily Telegraph" critic, "capture both the eye and tho ear as fully on the concert platform as on the lyric 6tage." Tho supporting tenor,. Mr. Paul Dufanlt, is described by Australian critics as one of tho finest concertplatform tenors yet heard in the Commonwealth. Mr. James Licbling, the 'cellist, is spoken of as tho best since Gerardy, whilst in Mr. Harold Whittle the artists have an accompanist who has achieved the highest reputation from his association with tho tours of Melba, Ada Crossley, Calve, and other celebrities. Tho box plans are now open at the Dresden.
