TOTALISATOR CONTROL.
AUCKLAND CLUB'S ACTION. A letter from the Auckland Sports Pro-, tection Association regarding the retention of dividend fractions by the Auckland Hoeing Club Ims been forwarded by the Minister for Justice to tlio Acting-Corn-misiioiier of Police. 'Hie allegation made in the letter is that during several seasons the Auckland liacing Club has continuously broken Section 35 of the darning Act in that the totnlisator dividends have not been paid to the nearest sixpence. The Minister informed a reporter lusl evening that inquiry is being made by the Government to ascertain whether there has been any breach of the law.
