PLAY AT PALMEUSTON. (By Telegraph.—Press Association,) ■ Palmerston, September 10, The annual Manawatu golf tournament began to-day. Results:— Driving approach.—C. Gore, 1; A. Scifert, 2; T. Saunders, 3. Tho sixteen who qualified for champion, ship arc-.-H. B. Lusk, 0. H; Druee, K-opi, A. Seifcrt, Kurepo, W. B. Colbeek, W. T. Harman, Karraud, T. Saunders,. L. Seifcrt, D. G. Moore, F. Gordon, .1. Goss, T. Crosse, J. B. Lusk, and W. Seifcrt. The team match was won by'Manawatu, Auckland being second, and Napier third. In the 3C-holo handicap competition, J. B. Lusk was the winner and 0. H. Druce. T. Crosse, and W. Seifcrt tied for second P' ace - I V T Tho Nathan Cup was won by D. J., Moore.
