MOTOR-CYCLE RACE TRAGEDY.

At Newark, Kew Jersey, Eddie Hasha, a competitor, plunged over the track railings during a motor-cycle race and dashed into the spectators, killing six and 1 injuring thirteen. Johnny Albright, a motor-cyclist, and a competitor at th 4 meeting, was fatally injured. Hasha was flung 50ft. in the air when his cycle fell over the railings. Parts of the cycle were flung off by contact with the railings. One sprocket struck a lad, killing him. A panic broke out amongst the crowd, several of whom were badly injured through being trampled on. ' Hasha held several world's cycling records.
