REV. J. K. ELTJOTT NOMINATED. (By Telecraph.-Prcse Association.) Oamaru, September 10. At tho meeting of tlio Oamaru Presbytery to-day, it was decided to nominate the Rev. J. K. Elliott, of Wellington, for Jlodcratorshlp of the, Assembly. The Presbytery decided to 'take no action regarding tho no temero decree, holding that the laws of tho Dominion protected its citizens in their marital relations, and that tho Roman Catholic Church was within its rights in mnlting rules for tho guidance of its people similar to other denominations.
