In two separate telol graphic messages (Press Association and i special correspondent), the attendance at i Saturday's League match at Chriatchurch was given at 20,000 and 25,000 respectiveI ly. The Christchurch "Press" places tho t attendance at 2000, and the other Christ- , church paper merely says" that it was ! "large."Not long ago an attendance of 7000 was ; given over the telegraph as 700, and more ' recently in tho League match, Auckland i v. New South Wales, tho two Auckland • journals gave the attendance as 10,000. , The Press Association returned it as 7000. > ■
