The Foilding and District Ministers' Association hns passed a resolution conveying to Commissioner Richards sincere sympathy, with the Salvation Army in the loss which it has sustained through the death of tho lato General William Booth. At. the nnmnl meeting of the Feilding Chamber of Commerce (presided over bv Mr. Fred Pirani), the following officers were elected-.-President, Mr. John G. Cobbc; vice-presidents, Messrs. W. R. Neal and Wackrill; committee, Messrs. Spence, Atkinson. Tollev, W. F. Brarawell, Pryde, Fred Pirani, and M'lntyro; auditor, Mr. J. E. Baltrop; Holiday Commil ee, .Messrs. Cobbe, A. E. Carth'cw, W. F. Biamwell, Hcaly, Pryde, and Spencc.
