CITY FIRES.
■Early yesterday morning house No. IS2 Hamilton Road. Kilbirnie, was destroyed by hre. The building, which contained six rooms, was owned by Mr. A. M S' folson.of Napier, and w a3 occupied' 1-~ Mr. William Nation. It was insured for XM in tho-Australian Alliance Co., and the contents were insured in the Yorkshire office for £125. Mr. and Mrs. Nation und their child had only just time to escape from the burning building. The adjoining house, which is owned and ocCTI l?j e (J ty' Jlr, ,Tonn Goodwin, had one wall badly scorched.
