PHOTOGRAPHIC SOCIETY.
The third annual meeting of the Wellington Amateur Photographic Society was held last evening. The report and balancesheet'', which showed the'society to be in a satisfactory condition, were read and adopted. The committee awarded a valuable camera for competition by members. The competition will close on December 31. The following officers were elected:--Patron, Hon. A. L. Hcrdman; president, Mr. P. N. Denton; vice-presidents, Dr. Newman, M.P., Rev. D. C. Bates, Messrs. Jf. Ross. Martin Chapman. ,T. P. Palmer, C. W. Nettloton, B. W. White, and Mrs. Jansoh; committee. Messrs. E. Arnold, N. Beck, J. E. Creed. A. H. Griffiths, G. Norton, and F. W. Sellers; lion, secretary, Mr. Geo. Greig; Uou. treasurer, Miss If. E. Young.
