HOCKEY.
WEDNESDAY ASSOCIATION. The third annual smoke couccrt of tbA Wellington Wednesday Hockey Association was held at Godbor's Hooms, Courtcnay Place, last evening, Mr.- J. C. Cusack presiding. The presentation of trophies was mado by Dr. Izard (president of the association), as follows:—The "White Cup to tho Pctono Club, winuers of this season's competition; six gold medals and the O'Kano Banner to tho Pakeha Club, winners of the six n-side tournament. The following toasts were honoured:— "Wellington Hockey Association." "Wednesday Hockey Association," "Donors of Tropliies," "Winners of Trophies," "ifeferees." "Tho Losers." anil "The Chairman." Items were given bv Dr. Izard, Messrs. J. Baker, C. V, M'Kenzie, C. N, Cathie, A. A. Bennett, L. .Jackson, U. M'Grcjor, W. M'Ewan, and R. Hunter.
