MR. FOWLDS'S OPINION OP THE
"LIBERALS." (Br TaTesrarh—Presj Auoeletlon.) Auckland, September 4. Mr. Fowlds took the chair to-night at a meeting of the United Labour party, as president of tho Auckland district. Ho said tho Liberal party was dead and roup, and 'would soqn •disintegrate into its natural elemonts. The Conservatives would find their place, and the Radical clement* would bo found citlijer in or working for the Labour party, now-the most potent factor in politics.
