TRAIN ACCIDENT.
PASSENGER TRUCK OVERTURNED COLLISION WITH PIGS, FIVE PEOPLE SERIOUSLY INJURED. (By Toleirrapn.—Press Association,) Auckland, September 3. A Taumarunui correspondent telegraphs that a serious accident occurred on the l'nrrngainutu trnin to-dny. A truck, containing passengers, was overturned through a collision with pigs ou the lino. Kve passengers were seriously injured and several slightly hurt. The nnmes of the injured are-:— Tho Rev. H. 0. Hanby (broken leg). M'iss Hanby (injured back). Mrs. Burn Bell (broken wrist). Mr. Vinco (broken leg and serious in» tornal injuries). Mr. Parker (badly cut head). . ■ Mrs. Hanby, Sister M'Farland, and Mr. A. Cook escaped with a few scratches and bruises. Tho injured people wero brought into Tauuiarunui this evening.
