ALLEGED FALSE RETUEN. ' By TeleEraph—Press Association—Copyrlelit Brisbane, September 3. Mr. Gillies, who was recently elected to the General Assembly as tho representativo of Eacham, and who was committed for trial on a charge of falsely stating in connection with his electoral claim that ho had been twelve months a resident of Queensland and entitled to have his name placed on the roll, has been found not guilty by tho jury.
