BROOKLYN GLEE CLUB.
The second annual meeting of the Brooklyn Glee Club was held last week, the president (Mr. R, A. Wright) occupying th» chuir. There was a good attendance of meniters. The secretary's rerort showed that the club had done excellent, work during the year, large sums of money bei'ng. raised for charitable and other deservin" object's. Twenty concerts wore given all of whicli were well atbndcd and "l-eatly apureciated. Great, credit duo to the 'cotrhctor (Mr. W. M'Clellan) for' the =nlendid monner in which ho had worked for the club's interest?, ond also to the secretary •.Mγ. V?. Bake) and the accompanist'(Mr. C; Russel ). _The ba-snee-sheet showed a credit cf £i li?. OSd. The following officers were elected for the ensiiin" year:-President. Mr. l> , . A.
