AUSTRALIAN TARIFF.
NO LEGISLATION THIS SESSION.
By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Rec. September 2, 11.25 p.m.) Melbourne, September 2. Mr. Tudor, Minister for Trade and Customs, has stated that the Government does not propose to give increased protection to any Australian industry during the present session, but trusts that the result of the forthcoming referendum will enable it to complete the amendment of the tariff.
