' Messrs. Dalgcty and Co., Ltd., report on their Levin stock sale, held on Friday, as followsWo had a fair yarding of sheep, consisting mostly of hoggets ajid fat sheep. Some very nice fat wethers wero yarded on account of the local Experiment Farm, and after keen competition wero passed in at 245. 3d., this being below the reserve. Cattle came forward in good numbers, a.nd were keenly competed for, the Wellington butchers buying largely. Woolly hoggets, 14s. 9d. to 155.; fat ewes, 15s. to 15s. 3d.; forward empty ewes, to 14s. 7d. Cattle: Fat cows, to £7 45.; fat bullocks, to £8; weaner steers, 355.; yearling steers,, to £2 lie.: yearling heifers. £2 13s. 6d. to £2 155.: low-conditioned store cows, 253.: heifers, R.W.H., to £5 65.: dairy cows, £3 7s. 6d., £4, £5 65., £7, to £8.
