London, August 31. The match between Australia and Kent was drawn. Fairservice replaced A. Day. Kent declared .with six wickets down. A thousand spectators were present. Day won the toss. He gave a chance at 51, and was eventually caught off Emery. Hazlitt made a most troublesome pitch. Whitty, capturing Day, bagged liis hundredth wicket. Carr. had a day out with the Australians. Going on when the second wicket was down, he finished with the fino average of seven for 16. Macartney and Bardsley were in good form, and Miunctt and Whitty were lively.
