The game was resumed in fine weather tnd oil a soft wicket. A feature of the natch was the deadly bowling of \ Whitty ind Hazlitt in England's first innings. Australia made 13C and declared their econd innings closed with sbc wickets lown for 79 runs. England for 9 in their first innings, and when stumps rcre dratfn had a score of 68 for four rickets.
