. « SUMMARY AND FORECAST. Present indications are for cloudy and unsettled weather, with rain in all parts of the country. The barometer will proba-bly continue to fall in the north, but a rise may be expected in the 6outh, though the indications aro not yet definite, and the barometer is unsteady. The winds will probably be variable and strong in parts—northerlies predominating in the North Island and east to south-easterly winds in the south. The barometer lias fallen everywhere, but is now showing a rising tendency at the Bluff.
