•NEWCASTLE PROJECT. By Telceraph-Press Assoclation-Copjrteht (Rcc. August 29, 1.20 a.m.) Sydney, August 28. An agreement has been concluded between tho Government and the Broken Hill Proprietary regarding tho establishment,of stoel works near Newcastle. Tho Government agrees to lease for fifty years a large area of land, to resume an unused railway on it, to dredge a channel, and reclaim a certain quantity of land on which tho company will erect a wharf.
