I "SINBAD THE SAILOR." The popular pantomime "Sinbad the Sailiir," was witnessed by another large audience at the Opera House last evening. U'no numerous gorgeous scenes which are revealed on the rising of tho curtain, or the switching on of the lights, appealed to everyone. To-nipfht and to-morrow night will be tho last two opportunities of witnessing tho production in Wellington. FULLERS' PICTURES. A pathetic photo-play drama by the A.B. Co., "Home Folks," is tho principal picture of the current programme of Fullers' Pictures screened nightly at tho Skating Rink in Vivian Street. T'ho sou of a very austere father suggests going to a barn dance, and the father's veto is prompt. Tho boy, becoming rebellious, decides to go, , however, and thereupon his father bids him never to seek shelter within his house again. The father subsequently regrets his harshness, but remains firm in not allowing his son to return. The only daughter writes to the boy to come home, however, and a reconciliation is effected. Among other good pictures tire: "Tomboy B?ssio" (comedy). A Humble Hero" (drama), "The Life of a Racing Pigeon" (bird study), and "Ao Red Ink Tragedy." The bi-weekly change of programme will take- place to-morrow evening. \ THE KING'S THEATRE. The current programme at the King's Theatre is starred by an excellent pictorial melodrama entitled "The Black Chancellor." Princess Irene, daughter of Rallcnstein, the Black Chancellor, falls in love with Lieutenant Pawlou, and in siite of her father's threats, she refuses to marry the man of his wish. The lovers are secretly married, and when the Chancellor hears of this, he takes counsel with his aide-de-camp, Count Rcckowitz, and they decide upon the best means of getting rid of those who know of tho niar- •' rinse, in order that the chancellor may ' fulfill his wish. The lieutenant and the '. princess are decoyed away, and following ' upon this several sensational scenes of 1 their escapes are depicted.
