Present indicatione arc for strong westerly winds northward of New Plymouth mid Napier, and northerlles strong to'galo elßcwhere, for a westerly storm area now apparently 'developing on the Tasman Sea. Expect increasing cloudiness, with rain following, generally, but especially on tho West Coast and southern districts. The barometer will probably fall everywhere slow in the south. The barometer lias fallen steadily in tho south and unsteadily elsewhere; cloudiness has extended over many parts o£ tho Dominion, and showers about Povcaui Strait, but fair weather has prevailed.
