Tho New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., and Reduced, report:— During tho wools we Held sales at, llakotuku (Wednesday), and Dannevirke (Friday). Matootuku: There was only a smaM yarding of both sheep and cattle, and a moderate attendance of the public. Competition, except for really Rood springing heifers, was dull. Fat ewes made 165.: forward ewes, 155.; mixed hoggets, 15s. Dannevirke: Wo had a emaJl entry of cattlo, but a good yarding of sheep. Thero being very few outside buyers present, bidding on sheep was eomey,'hat dragging. We, howovor, eventually cleared practically the whole of our entry. Sheep: Ewe hoggets, Us. 9d.; mixed hoggets, 13s. Zd., 12s. 3d.; forward ewes, 13s. 3d.; ewes with lamb? at foot, 205.; ewes in lamb, 15s. lid., 9s. Id.; fat ewes, 17e. 4d. Cattle: Fa.t cowe, t.i 10s., £5 17s. 6d„ £5; yearling steers,- £3 ss, Messrs.
