This long-awaited and greatly-needed improvement to tho important Chilian port will no doubt give that republic as a whole great impetus towards attaining ,tho standing its commercial progress warrants. On September 6 the Tyser Lino's steamer liidralema is duo at Wellington from New lork, via usual way ports. Wireless advice received from tho Union Company s R.M.S. Marama last evening stated that 'tho vessel was expected to arrive at Auckland from Vancouver, via way ports, at 8 a.m. to-day. A reported charter is that of tho barqno Anglo-Norman, 762 tons.
