-t THE ULSTERMEN'S PLANS. By Telegraph—Press Association-Copyright (Rec. August 26, 9.15 p.m.) London, August 26. The Earl of Mayo presided over a largo meeting of Unionists at Strafl'an, County Kildare, at which it was resolved to resist Homo RuleMr. Ronald M'Ncill, Unionist M.P.. for East Kent, said the Unionists would shortly know tho details of tho constitution under which it was proposed to assume, if necessary, the provisional government of Ulster. Thero might bo some- technical illegality in tho step proposed, but there was nothing disloyal or rebellious to the Crown in tho Ulster Unionist movement. Mr. Austen Chamberlain, in a letter to a correspondent, denies tho rumoured disagreement between himself and Mr. Bonar Law, Leader of the Opposition, regarding tho case of Ulster. BELFAST VOLUNTEERS. (Rec. August 27, 1.10 a.m.) London, August 26. Tho Lord Mayor' of Belfast is forming a non-political force of citizen volunteers between tho ages of 18 and 25. Boy Scouts will bo transferred to the foreo after reaching tho age of 18 and the drill and training will be a continuation of that of tho Boy Scouts.
