TERRITORIAL TRAINING.
« A NEW ARRANGEMENT. Tho various military training centres have been advised by General Headquarters of a now arrangement with regard to the carrying out of tho compulsory parades and training camps in future. It lias been decided, with regard to the country corps, the week night parades will bo dropped altogether, and to mako up for these tho men will go into camp for 15 days instead of seven. Tho compulsory half and wholo-day parados will, of course, still be held. Units which from their proximity to the towns aro regarded as being half-way between tho country corps and tiio city corps, will I>a given the option of retaining tho present schedule of trainingweek night parades, half and whole-day parades, and a week's camp—or adopting the mew arrangement, subject to the condition that tho choice is one to bo determined by. tho regiment oonoerned as a whole, and not a matter for tho discretion of individual companies. Tho city units \rill retain tho existing arrangements.
