Tho various military training centres have been advised by General Headquarters of a now arrangement with regard to the carrying out of tho compulsory parades and training camps in future. Units which from their proximity to the towns aro regarded as being half-way between tho country corps and tiio city corps, will I>a given the option of retaining tho present schedule of trainingweek night parades, half and whole-day parades, and a week's camp—or adopting the mew arrangement, subject to the condition that tho choice is one to bo determined by. tho regiment oonoerned as a whole, and not a matter for tho discretion of individual companies. Tho city units \rill retain tho existing arrangements.
