SUMMARY AND FORECAST. Present indications aro for a change in weather conditions—the barometer falling everywhere, with increasing haze and cloudiness—rain following in many parts of the country in about 24 hours. Easterly and northerly winds will probably prevail, • and increaso in force. There are also indications for a storm area- off East Cape affecting the East Coast of the North Island shortly. Tho barometer has fallen steadily everywhere since Saturday morning. Showery weather has been reported in llawhc's Bay, and a southerly Eale this afternoon at East Capo, but elsewhere fair weather has ' continued, with moderate and variable winds.
