Announcements regarding Snnday services iyill be found on page 2 of this issue. The anniversary services of the Kent Terrace Presbyterian Sunday School will be held on Sunday, when the Kcv. D. B. Forda Carlisle will preach in the morn ing. Rev. W\ H. Hinton in the afternoon, and the Ee'y. Hngh Bejrgs'in the evening. A choir of children will lead the praise, and specjal anthems will be rendered by th<> children. The collections are in aid of the ' Sunday School, j&nkey's hymns will be used at all the services. The anniversary tea and entertainment will take pjace oh the following Tuesday, in the schoolroom, when an interesting programme of music, recitations, dialogues, etc., will be submitted. At St. John's Church (Presbyterian) at the evening service,. the Eev. Dr. Gibb's subject will be "Poverty and Wealth: The Way Out, ncoortjing to tho Principles of Jesus Christ,*' The preacher at St. Marie's Anglican Church in the morning will be the Per. H, N. Dmtnmond, of the Melanesiari Mission, In the evening Mr. Drummond will preach at St. Barnabas's, Roseneath. The Rev. J. R<cd Glasson's eveninsr subject at the' Terrace Congre?at ; onal Church will be "Tares Among the Wheat/' At the Wesley Church, Taranaki Street, the Eev. J. (J. Clmpman will preach In the morning on ''Society and Solitude," and in the evening pn "The dnreasonableness of Atheism.' , At the Salyation Army (Vivian Street) to-inorrow, memorial- services to the late General Booth will be. held. ' ' Tjie services at St. Paul's Pro-Cathedral, St. Peter's, and St. Andrew's are'also announced.
