SEAMAN ATTACKS MASTER, By Tolenraph—Prcßß Association—Copyright (Rec. August 23, 10.15 p.m.) ' Sydney, August 23. A sensational stabbing affray has occurred at Newcastle. Two seamen on a German ship had been sentenced to six weeks' imprisonment for desertion, and ono of them, a man named Cosick, was being placed in the polico van, when he got free, and rushed at Captain Prciss, the master of the ehip, and stabbed him twice in tho back. Captain Preis3 was taken to the Hospital, but is not seriously injured, his thick coat having saved him. Cosick was arrested.
